We are looking to increase the number of groups we offer to our membership. So, what better way than to ask what sort of topic you would find of interest. Please select this link and answer a few questions to help us.

What happens next?

We will collate the responses and for those groups showing sufficient interest, we will get people together to discuss moving it forward - venue, day/time, format, startup costs, ongoing costs, equipment required, potential group leader, etc.

About leading a group

Many members are put off suggesting a new group because they think the task of leading one is onerous. It does not have to be like that. There will be support, both physical and financial, to get the group established.

The financial side is minimal, with new practices being introduced, there is no collection of money and no need to find a bank or post office to pay any monies into. Other duties can be allocated to group members, so being a group leader can amount to simply being a facilitator, ensuring that the group is supportive of its members, helps everyone to have some fun and be the contact point for group enquiries
