Our u3a offers a wide range of different interest groups. Use the buttons above to view details.
u3a is founded on the idea of people coming together to share their interests; hence the name "Interest Group". They can vary in size from a few people meeting in a member's home to groups of over 100 that organise travel outings. Group leaders don't have to be experts in the subject, they just want to share their interest with others.
We are always delighted to hear from anyone who has an idea for a new group whether that's from an existing member or someone thinking of joining u3a. Select here to submit your ideas.
Please note: you can only join groups (as many as you like) once you have become a U3A member. Members are able to contact group organiser(s) directly.
The following u3as are members of WestNet: Bradford, Craven, Ilkley & District and Settle. WestNet has an 'Open Door' policy, whereby members of these u3as effectively have reciprocal membership of the other branches.
