Sheffield u3a members, John Darwin and Mike Pupius, have led numerous online courses in Mindfulness for both Sheffield and the u3a trust. To date, more than 1200 members have taken part. The Centre for Mindful Life Enhancement in Sheffield, is now offering an online self-taught course for mindful wellbeing using much of the same material.

The content has been developed from the NEF New Economic Foundation) Five Ways to Wellbeing report, a government equivalent of recommendations to eat your five fruit and veg daily.

You can use the material at your own pace, in your own time, from home. The material can be accessed via a smart phone but a laptop/tablet will offer the best experience.

The time commitment is roughly 2 hours per week for 8 weeks but it's up to you. It could be done for an hour a week over 16 weeks. We will meet up fortnightly, to discuss content, share experiences, and practise some beginner meditations (guided, sitting on chairs) Group members will pay a contribution towards room cost, approx. £2 - £3per week.

Newcomers are welcome to join us at any point.

The venue is close to the bus station, on the first floor, stairs to access.
