 The magic of the musicals

The Talk is about musicals, from opera through many decades up to the present day including the must-see hip hop musical 'Hamilton'.  I talk about many productions giving interesting and unusual facts about them interspersed with the musical magic. The songs I play are all well known and people can join in and sing along if they feel like it. 

I have a love of history and adore all aspects of theatre and through my volunteering job at Manchester Central Library Archives and  I was privileged to catalogue their wonderful collection of theatre bills and programmes.  My love of theatre, especially the musicals, have inspired me to create a talk about them.
