Walk the River Wharfe (3) Ben Rhydding

This series of 5 walks is aimed at the casual walker or those wanting to explore a new environment at a safe gentle pace with stops to enjoy the views. Book on one walk or book on them all!

Meet at the entrance to Ben Rhydding Gravel Pits Nature Reserve Coutances Way, Ilkley LS29 8AW.

The Nature Reserve is to the right of the Hand Car Wash.

We will meet our guide Steve Parkes from The Wharfedale Naturalists Society at the entrance to the Nature Reserve. Steve will take us on a 1 hour 30 mins walking tour of the Nature Reserve.

The route will follow established paths. There is limited seating on the route

Please wear comfortable, appropriate footwear for the terrain, and appropriate clothing for the weather on the day. You may wish to carry a cold drink with you.

Refreshments and food are available from Moss & Moor Garden Centre from 09.00. Pay on the day if required.

Please park in the bottom car park of Moss & Moor Garden Centre. There is an arrangement with them to use this car park.

WC facilities are available in the Garden Centre.
