ILKLEY & DISTRICT u3a
This is a thought-provoking presentation, based upon Gregory Radick's book Disputed Inheritance. To quote one reviewer it rewrites the story of genetics.
Gregory Radick, Professor of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Leeds, brings together extensive archival research and an analysis of the nature of science and history to challenge the way we think about genetics and its possibilities, past, present and future.
Gregory Radick, who lives in Ilkley, has collaborated with u3a member Mike Dixon to publish a book on Darwin in Ilkley. Read more about Gregory and his many publications on this link.
