Short Course: The Works of Poet Laureate - Simon Armitage

Aim: A non-academic but well structured analysis of Simon Armitage’s poetic work from his first published work to the present day.

Objective: To enable participants to enjoy and understand selected works through discussion and sharing responses to the selected poems.

Although it would be useful for participants to have copies of the scheduled books it is not essential as copies of the selected poems can be emailed out prior to the session or printed.

No charge but those attending are requested to buy at least one drink (tea and coffee available) at the hotel as a way of repaying their hospitality with free use of their dining area at this "off peak" time.
