6 Sessions on Tuesday mornings

Cost £21.60

There is a reason so many u3a branches have a ukulele group. It is relatively easy instrument for beginners to play. Most will be able to play a recognisable tune from scratch without previous experience.

This is an opportunity to join our existing Grove Ukulele Players group for a six session "taster". Read more about the group here.

You don't need to be able to read music, but you will need a ukulele and an electronic tuner. A music stand would also be helpful.

Select this link to contact the organiser for more information, including advice on purchasing a Ukulele. It need not cost a fortune and previous beginners have found it a useful investment because practice makes perfect!

Cost for attending the whole course of six sessions will be £21.60, so the same as paid by existing group members. Details of how to pay will be in the email that is sent once registration is successful.

In an ideal world those registering will be able to attend every session but providing you can attend at least 4 or 5 you will still find benefit in joining this short course.

There is a café at Christchurch for refreshments if required.
