A gentle walk around Lister Park exploring and discovering more about its history and the plant life, both current and ancient.

Please wear comfortable footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather forecast. Bring a cold drink if you need it.

Meet at the 'Norman Arch' gate by the junction of Frizinghall Road and Keighley Road/Emm Lane.

Refreshments: There is a private café by the lake for the end of the walk.

Getting there:

By train: the nearest station is Frizinghall; from there walk up the hill (Frizinghall Road) to the Norman Arch at the junction with the main Keighley Road.

By car: Lister Park has car parks off North Park Road but allow time to walk downhill to the meeting point at the Norman Arch gate.
