A Short Course: Peacebuilding

Friday afternoons




Attendees will discuss and examine various aspects and definitions of peace from global, regional, and local points of view. Global crises appear unsolvable: harmony and division have to replace destruction and violence. We will examine how ideas about peace making lead to widespread choices and legacies made and left by many eminent people.

No charge, but attendees are expected to buy a drink from the bar.

7 sessions, Fridays from 2pm to 4pm: 27th October, 3rd November, 10th November, 17th November, 24th November, 1st December and 8th December.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a notepad. Handouts will be provided at each session.
