The Art of The Album Cover

This event is an ideal opportunity to bring a friend to a u3a event for free. Just indicate how many additional places (maximum of two) required when booking.

A light-hearted and irreverent presentation on album cover art, particularly where album covers have used or referenced, art works, from the peak period of LP sales (mid 1960s to early 1980s). The talk will look at various examples of album artwork, why they were used and what they represent - if anything at all!

The talk will last approximately one hour and the audience are also encouraged to bring along examples of their own favourite album covers for the Q&A session at the end of the talk.

There is no charge for this talk. Free tea and coffee.
