National u3a Online Groups

Our parent body, The Third Age Trust, provides over 50 groups meeting via Zoom. Only existing u3a members can participate and there is an additional £5 (increasing to £7) subscription to pay.

Many of topics are not currently provided by our own u3a. These include Armchair Archaeology, MS Word software, conversational Greek, 3 D printing and Astronomy.

One of our own members writes:

I'm in the COP climate group which meets once a month and has some wonderful speakers on international and national issues related to climate change complementing our own environment forum. The leader is very active, on local (Nottingham) radio etc., and has an article on P.18 of this months Third Age Matters.

All the meetings are recorded, so you can catch up and replay them and there is a Q and A slot after talks. There are usually about 30 of us on line.
