Monthly Saturday Talk - Across America By Bicycle

Join local resident Antony Butcher as he shares some of the stories from his recent 3,800 mile bike ride from New York to San Francisco – climbing four times the height of Mount Everest!

Antony will share what motivated him to undertake this adventure, and some of the challenges he faced, including climbing over the Rocky Mountains at 10,000 feet and cycling through the Nevada desert on America's loneliest Highway.

He will also share some of the incredible human encounters that have stuck with him, as people across the country welcomed him into their lives to support his trip.

Free tea or coffee and a biscuit served from 10.00 when the doors open. The talk starts promptly at 10.30.
