National u3a Online Events

As part of the annual subscription Ilkley & District u3a members have access to online tutorials and lectures provided by our parent body, the Third Age Trust.

The relationship with leading organisations, built up over many years, has meant the Third Age Trust is in a position to offer selected national events online ensuring that learning is available to all u3a's and their members. This includes events with the National Gallery, Royal Institution, Guildhall Art Gallery, and the British Library (for which there may be a charge).

There are also a number of workshops, webinars and interactive sessions delivered by members for members, which are free to join.

Many online events are delivered via the Zoom video conferencing / webinar platform. There are some 'How to Guides' and 'Online Tutorials' for using Zoom that may assist you if you are not familiar with this tool.

The Third Age Trust also runs many projects, initiatives and competitions available for all u3a members to get involved in.
