ILKLEY & DISTRICT u3a
This is a walking tour of Guiseley, a fascinating old mill town built on springs. We will tour part of the old town, walking up to two miles. A visit to the historic Parish Church of St. Oswald’s is included, where a short talk on its history will be given.
Commencing from and returning to the area in front of Everybodys, a restaurant next to Morrisons supermarket, 91-97 Otley Road LS20 8PS.

Refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks) can be obtained, before or after the event, from Everybodys or other places in the town.
Travel arrangements
There are frequent train services from Ilkley to Guiseley. Everybodys is a short walk from the station.
There are half-hourly buses from Otley, stopping outside Morrisons.
Parking at Morrisons is free for 3 hours.
We will be using the u3a audio tour guide system so please bring your own headphones. Any that use a standard 3.5 mm jack plug, often provided with portable music players or mobile phones will work.
