Originally planned for Yorkshire Day itself, we have a number of speakers on a wide range of Yorkshire related themes including The Yorkshire Society, murder and mystery in the Dales, the Staithes artists, local workhouses and finishing with a screening of local interest from the Yorkshire Film Archive.

12.00 to 1.00 Peter Higginbotham

Workhouses of the West Riding

1.00 to 1.45 Lunch, sandwiches and dessert in a lunch box with tea and coffee 

1.45 to 3.00 Mark Bridgeman

The author of The Dark Side of the Dales will present the defence and prosecution for a number of cases with the audience being the jury. The outcome and aftermath will be revealed.

2.45 to 4.15 Graham Relton
