Who would ever have dreamt that there could possibly be a Professor of AI and Games?

Well that is Peter’s role at Queen Mary University of London. Thanks to being the son of one of our members, he has been persuaded to share his expertise in this talk during the week after Easter.

The talk will look at the power of 1s and 0s - to encode words, pictures, music. Then how this can be adapted to do something like drive a car, control a character in a game, or help an artist to draw a picture.

Peter says he will imagine we know nothing about AI or computers, but hopes we will be interested to learn something about the topic. He also promises to only cover light, fun topics - there is too much doom and gloom around right now.
