Science & Technology is part of our everyday lives. Understanding ideas and concepts behind our ever-changing world is the basis of this group, and we aim to cover as much of the broad range of Science and Technology as we can. We try and recruit knowledgeable speakers at the forefront of their disciplines from universities and corporate institutions, as well as drawing upon our own members. When the opportunity arises we will arrange visits to places of interest. If the modern evolving world interests you, come and join us. You don’t need to be a scientist, just interested in learning how things work. |
