Description: |
The Travel Group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays from September to April. Indoor meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month. The programme alternates between indoor meetings with a visiting speaker and full day visits to stimulating places of interest, often to venues that are difficult to access individually and which members may not have considered. Members are expected to join in most of our planned activities. The December meeting this year will take place at the Ilkley Rugby Club for a buffet lunch to celebrate 25 years since the Travel Group's first outing. This popular and successful group also makes longer visits to interesting locations in the UK and abroad. There will be a visit to Northamptonshire in September. In the Spring of 2025 a five-night historic visit to Holland is being planned. |

| Cost: | £22.00 joining fee to cover the cost of indoor meetings - room hire, speakers' fees. There will be an additional charge for visits to include coach hire, entry fees, specialist guides and refreshments. |
