This friendly group aims to explore the scenery, history and wildlife of the countryside in and around the Yorkshire Dales. The group members take it in turns to reconnoitre and lead the walks, which are usually 7-8.5 miles in length and of about 4 hours duration plus breaks. We carry with us a mid morning drink and a packed lunch and aim to visit a tearoom at the end of the walk. Members take turns in organising and leading the walks. Details of each walk are sent out by email. Sorry but no dogs. |
