Description:

Members take it in turns to prepare and lead the group on a book of their choice; sometimes well known, sometimes one that they think worth resurrecting from obscurity! The novel selected may be serious and lengthy, but discussion is invariably lively and entertaining. Novels for the coming year range from 'Persuasion' (Jane Austen) to 'Fahrenheit 451' (Ray Bradbury) and from 'The Rainbow' (D H Lawrence) to 'The Ship of Fools' (Katherine Ann Porter).

New members are not expected to lead the class in the first year unless they wish to!

Wednesdays, fortnightly, commencing 2nd October 2024 10am-12 noon for two terms.
