Writing for Pleasure

Description:

Are you someone who enjoys writing fact, fiction, or the occasional poem?  We are a small group looking to extend our membership.  Our aim is to enjoy writing - which we do by taking it in turn to set an exercise for discussion to be developed further at home.  This is then read to the group at our next meeting which, of course, means we have to restrict our membership so that everyone’s work can be heard.  The subject can be anything from writing a story around one word, a modern version of a fairy-tale, newspaper headings, to a sequel of a well-known story and anything in-between.
