Description:

This is a lively discussion group looking at issues currently in the news both home and abroad. Usually the subject is topical and we try to explore it in some depth and, as appropriate, with some humour. We are supportive of each other and have different areas of interest and knowledge but all enjoy a bit of lively disputation. All opinions are listened to and different opinions politely accepted. We also share news items and engage in some lively email discussions during the week.

We used to meet fortnightly in person, but when Covid lockdowns came a visiting from Spring 2020 we decided to meet every week via Zoom. We are shortly to consider restarting face-to-face meetings again every fortnight, but continuing with a Zoom meeting in the intervening weeks.

Zoom meetings start at 10am – 12noon, Mondays (alternate weeks/weekly TBC)
