Description:

This is a lively discussion group looking at issues currently in the news both home and abroad. Usually the subject is topical and we try to explore it in some depth and, as appropriate, with some humour. We are supportive of each other and have different areas of interest and knowledge but all enjoy a bit of lively disputation. All opinions are listened to and different opinions politely accepted. We also share news items and engage in some lively email discussions during the week.

We meet every Monday at 10am for two hours. On the first Monday of each month we meet at the Audley Clevedon Retirement Village, in Ben Rhydding. On the other Mondays we meet via Zoom. Some members prefer to meet only in person at the Clevedon. We also have Zoom available at the Clevedon for members unable to travel.

Times:

Mondays at 10am for two hours.

On the first Monday of each month at the Audley Clevedon Retirement Village.

All other Mondays on Zoom. 

There is a small cost at the Audley Clevedon Retirement Village for refreshments.

A contribution to the annual subscription fee for the Zoom licence, paid equally between group members. Currently around £12 a year.
