Are you interested in all aspects of gardening and horticulture? Our group runs entirely on suggestions from its members, which might include visits to public and members' gardens, guided garden visits, speaker events and even practical sessions. As all of these sessions require a degree of organisation, this is viewed as a shared responsibility within the group and members are asked to volunteer to book and manage as appropriate. Sharing of lifts on outside visits is encouraged. We aim to meet on the first Monday of each month (with a break in July and August), but this is dependent on Bank Holidays, opening times and availability. As such we will give members as much notice of meetings as possible. Communications are facilitated through a Gardening What’s App group, where we also share ideas, ask for and give advice. New members welcome. |
