Name: |
Calligraphy |
|
Description: |
Are you interested in the art of beautiful writing? – that is what ‘Calligraphy’ means. You may have seen ancient illuminated manuscripts or modern beautiful calligraphy somewhere and wondered how it is done? We do NOT have an expert tutor, so we will (in true u3a fashion) attempt to work as a self-directed group, using our own materials and instruction books etc and try our hand at doing something that approaches calligraphy. No doubt we will have a wide range of experience and aptitudes, but hopefully with constructive discussion and advising, we will learn from each other and all make significant progress. |
