This is a suggestion for a new group for those who enjoy being creative with Botanical material. It may be the structured discipline of Botanical Illustration or any other type of creative Botanical Art – in any medium that works for you. The programme of the group will be agreed by the members, but initially we will all bring our own materials to work with and from. In time the group might include some member-led sessions on a variety of themes and/or outdoor visits. The aim is to provide a supportive and friendly space for us all to work in our own ways with friendly support/advice if needed but certainly never judgemental. In u3a fashion, we will all learn from each other. You don’t need any experience in Botanic Art to join the group; it will be equally suitable for beginners – just an interest in the subject is fine. There is a capacity limit at the venue of 12 people. Please do not just turn up without notice. |

By letting us know of your interest, you will alert our 'Groups Team' and once there are enough people on the list, we will endeavour to start a second group. |

The Ben Rhydding Methodist Church, LS29 8AY. There is a small car park and free off-street parking adjacent. |

Times: |
Fortnightly starting 10 am to 12 noon Thursday 3rd October 2024 for six weeks and restarting January 2025. |
| Cost: |
Group members will pay their share of the room hire costs and are asked to pay at the start of each term. Exact amount depends upon numbers joining but expected to be in the order of £15. |
