Name:

Birdwatching

For the latest Information on our group including photographs select here

Description:

The group welcomes anyone with an interest in birds and other wildlife whether experienced or beginners.

We are led by Andrew Kelly who is a keen birder and recorder for Wharfedale Naturalists.

We will meet at least once a month, often on a Tuesday but we will try to arrange an occasional Friday as well, and the times will vary as appropriate. A programme will be circulated to allow members to manage their diaries.

Some of the meetings will include walks so a basic level of fitness and energy are needed. You will need suitable protective clothing and footwear; a pair of binoculars and pocket ‘Birds’ guide book would be helpful, but not essential.

Organisers:

Andrew Kelly

Venue:

Some visits may need packed lunches and drinks; we may sometimes end with refreshments at the venue.
