Name:

Birdwatching

For the latest Information on our group including photographs select here

Description:

The group welcomes anyone with an interest in birds and other wildlife whether experienced or beginners.

We will meet at least once a month and the times will vary as appropriate. A programme will be circulated to allow members to manage their diaries.

Some of the meetings will include walks so a basic level of fitness and energy are needed. You will need suitable protective clothing and footwear; a pair of binoculars and pocket ‘Birds’ guide book would be helpful, but not essential.

Organisers:

Angie and David Adam

Venue:

This will vary each month. Arrangements will be made to encourage car-sharing if the location cannot be accessed by public transport.

Some visits may need packed lunches and drinks; we may sometimes end with refreshments at the venue.

Times:

The day will be decided by the trip leader and will vary from trip to trip.

Cost:  There may be entry fees for some sites and informal arrangements re car-sharing costs.
