An invitation to join Sophie Cooper's presentation to a meeting of the Religions of the World group. Her talk covers how catholic nuns, mainly from Ireland, used Limerick lace to establish missions in Australia in the nineteenth century, and then how lace veils were used by Irish girls and women to present their identities to the world.
