The 'Walking at the Weekends' group is a friendly and very sociable group which may explain why membership continues to grow. We encourage new members and ensure they receive a big welcome into the group. The group aims to provide a range of walks on the first Saturday and third Sunday each month throughout the year.
Walks vary in difficulty and distance (5 to 8 miles) but the key aim is to provide a variety of walks within the ability of the group and that there is something to suit everyone over the year. A number of the group members plan and lead the walks during the year, for which support and help is available for those who have not led a walk before. |
