Description:

We arrange a series of indoor meetings featuring presentations on scientific subjects, given either by members of the group or visiting speakers. The meetings alternate on a roughly fortnightly basis with visits to places of scientific or technological interest.

Planned visits for 2020-2021 include: A Flag and Banner Printer, A Jukebox factory, An Amazon Fulfilment Centre, Magna and the Anderson Boat Lift + Salt Works.   Subjects of talks planned for the year include: Non-ionising Radiations, Use of drones and AI for infrastructure management, Carbon Capture Technology and Space Weather.
