Description: |
The group will examine industrial activities and railways in roughly equal proportions, with emphasis on studying historical aspects rather than the modern day context. In doing so, we hope to understand the background social history, and the environmental factors, as well as engineering aspects of each topic. Indoor presentations and discussion is to be complemented by occasional site visits. Items for consideration could be from regional, national or even from international topics. |
