The backgammon group has enjoyed their Wednesday afternoon sessions in the Lister Arms (Wetherspoons) when the pub is quiet and the coffee and drinks are cheap. We are now extending the range of games we play during these sessions. We are open to suggestions but in addition to backgammon we envisage whist, hearts, hangman, dominoes, chess..... This is an informal group so if you are in town on a Wednesday drop in for a chat anytime between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. If you are planning to come it is useful but not essential to let Caroline know. |
