Electronics and Computing Projects for Beginners

This new group is about learning electronics and computing to make projects that can relate to real applications. The basis of it is to use the Arduino components controlled with a computer program. Members do not need a high level of computer knowledge as we start from real basics on a voyage of discovery.

Participants will need to have access to a computer and be prepared to spend a small amount of money on Arduino components for their own experiments (£30 or so initially and maybe a similar amount each year thereafter). The intention of the meetings will be to learn the necessary principles to enable participants to do their own thing and then share their results with other members. In the longer term it might be possible to plan more complex projects with the development work shared between members.
